Trader Joe’s Organic Popcorn with Olive Oil – Candida Diet Product

Have you ever thought to flavor your popcorn with olive oil rather than butter?  Me neither but Trader Joe’s did.  Trader Joe’s Organic Popcorn with Olive Oil is a great yeast free snack.  I am a regular shopper of Trader’s Joe’s and always try to identify yeast free products for the candida diet when I am there.  I found this one when looking for some snacks for the kids to take to school and the babysitter’s.  It has been rather challenging to find allergy friendly snacks for them that they would actually eat.  My little one loves this popcorn and so does the babysitter.  I often buy extra bags of this popcorn as sort of a thank you to the babysitter.  I also keep a couple of bags of this popcorn in the car for those moments when I must have a snack.  This always works out great and I am proud of myself for planning ahead.  The ingredients in Trader Joe’s Organic Popcorn with Olive Oil are Organic Popcorn, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Sea Salt.   Really simple ingredients for a really great snack.    Although popcorn is high in carbohydrates it is allowed in moderation on the candida diet.  If you find that you cannot tolerate it in the early stages of the candida diet wait a few weeks and then try to reintroduce it.  I hope that you enjoy this popcorn as much as we do.
