>Anytime I have crabcakes at a restaurant they are always served with a variety of tasty dips. I have never really thought too much about these dips until yesterday when I was making yeast free salmon cakes for the first time and wanted to make a sauce to go with them. I was lucky enough to find a dill sauce recipe while looking for a salmon cake recipe to adapt. To my delight the dill sauce recipe from Eating Well was very easy to make yeast free and this sauce proved to be a great accompaniment to the salmon cakes.
The recipe does call for yeast free mayonnaise so you will need some extra time to make this if you do not have any prepared. The recipe also calls for yogurt which is okay for most on the candida diet but just be sure to choose the plain unsweetened type.
Yeast Free Dill Sauce Ingredients
1/4 cup yeast free mayonnaise
1/4 cup plain unsweetened yogurt
2 scallions, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh dill, or parsley
black pepper to taste
Yeast Free Dill Sauce Directions
Combine all ingredients, mix well and serve
