A commonly used presevative and flavor enhancer which is derived from citrus fruits by fermentation of sugars.

Citric Acid Allergy Concerns
Those allergic or sensitive to citrus fruits. 
The sugar used in the fermentation could be from cane, beet or corn sugar.  Those allergic to or sensitive to corn should proceed with caution. 

Citric Acid Concerns
The Sugar used in the fermentation process may excerbate candida symptoms.
