Yeast Free Ranch Dressing

I started making salad dressing several years ago when I was unable to find a candida diet friendly salad dressing at the supermarket.  I tried for a while to enjoy salad without dressing but I started to avoid salad altogether.  I knew that this was a mistake, as raw vegetables have so many health benefits, and salad is one of the best ways to enjoy a variety of raw vegetables.  In order to get salad back in the mix I started making  Yeast Free Creamy Herb Salad Dressing.   This dressing is awesome and has topped my salads for years but lately I have been craving more variety.  I created a Yeast Free French Dressing last week with good results and thought I would try my hand at ranch this week.

I actually created this Yeast Free Ranch Dressing with my eldest daughter, Cheyenne, in mind.  Getting my children to eat salad is a challenge but Cheyenne loves ranch dressing and I thought making this dressing would help.  I was right.  Cheyenne ate three bowls of salad at dinner last night, topping each bowl with a few tablespoons of this Yeast Free Ranch Dressing.  I am thrilled that she enjoyed it.  I am even more excited that this ranch dressing is so easy to make that I will not hesitate to make it for her again and again.  I really enjoyed this dressing too and am looking forward to using it in other recipes.

Specific Ingredients That I Used To Make Yeast Free Ranch Dressing

ShopRite Unsweetened Plain Yogurt
Bertolli Extra Virgin Olive Oil Litehouse Freeze-Dried Chives
Litehouse Freeze-Dried Dill
Spice Classics Garlic Powder
Spice Classics Onion Powder
Diamond Crystal Fine Sea Salt
Spice Classics Ground Black Pepper

Yeast Free Ranch Dressing

  • 1 cup plain unsweetened yogurt
  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon dried chives
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon dried dill weed
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
  1. In large coverable bowl combine all ingredients
  2. Mix thoroughly
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving
